There is also a plus that I live very close to my job!

I do not like go into dirty houses and some really just plain 'ole bad people. I would prefer to surround myself with nice/happy poeple. In my job you never now what is coming next. I like to plan, unfortunately, if I do plan something that means the schedule is going to blow up and I probably will not get home to late late that night. Also, the money sucks but what can you do?Emilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07786636254158445779noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7116695847634534349.post-58328479102580973132009-07-31T08:52:01.218-04:002009-07-31T08:52:01.218-04:00i LOVE working for habitat, because it's not a...i LOVE working for habitat, because it's not a downer job like most social work jobs are. i LOVE the flexibility i have. i love that they let me bring the dog to work and will let me bring the baby to work with me when i have her! i love that my boss doesn't care when we (the office staff) just sit around and gossip for an hour (on the clock) each morning!

i hate the low pay that i get. habitat traditionally pays 10% less than other non-profits, so that sucks. i hate that since we're such a small office that things are soooooo slow to change.Alannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16523654816687529770noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7116695847634534349.post-66421241321239209272009-07-30T15:50:05.393-04:002009-07-30T15:50:05.393-04:00I love my job! There's nothing better than watching a child read for the first time and know you had some part in that.

They make me smile even if I'm sad. In fact, there is no comedian that can ever make me laugh like a 5 year old.

However, I don't like all the "extra stuff" . . . the meetings, the paper work, the classes, the committees, the workshops, etc.
uhh.Holly @ Life as a Thrifterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04886021166522482760noreply@blogger.com
